A bit about the blog :o)
First Class To Anywhere
started out as a class assignment but quickly became a personal project that
gives me an excuse to collect more postcards and shot glasses. It is a creative
outlet that allows me to share my enthusiasm for learning about different cultures.
I chose to focus on travelling because I LOVE the feeling of seeing the sunrise
in a new place while trying to discover the delicious corners of that world,
before sunset!!!
A little bit more about the face behind the blog
:o)
I delight in eating ethnic foods, jewelry making,
thrift shopping and sleeping.
My greatest hopes are to forge my own path and
live the “new” American Dream. One that doesn’t involve me waiting for
retirement to become a globetrotter and live fully. Instead I want to submerge
myself in new places, learn new things and become the woman I want to be, not
the woman that everyone else wants.
I tend to smile and laugh a lot because I believe
in the old school philosophy, “laughter is the best medicine.” So I make it a
habit to try and laugh more than I cry in my “pursuit of happiness.”
I believe that yesterday does not equal tomorrow,
and that life is a balancing act between being selfless and selfish. And it is
only when you find the medium between the two, that you can then achieve an
ultimate sense of happiness.
